The AMCM attended another great Amelia Concours on Saturday, March 8th. With some poor weather expected on Sunday, the decision was made to move up the Sunday Concours. The museum brought along our 1974 Bricklin SV1 and the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Pace Car Convertible.
We are happy to announce the Bonneville Pace Car Convertible won an Amelia Award in the American Limited Production class. The winner of the entire class was a tremendous 1956 Packard Caribbean Convertible, which was well deserved.
While the Bricklin SV1 was possibly the nicest Bricklin around, it ended up losing the Safety Class to a 1972 General Motors Experimental Safety Vehicle from the GM Heritage collection. This car had been hidden away for nearly fifty years, so it was a very unique addition to the class. Wayne Carini and his three-wheeled Davis Divan also received an Amelia Award in the class.
Here is a look at our cars out on the show field, some of the judging process, and some kids in our cars after completing the judging. Thanks to everyone who came out and said hello and everyone over at Hagerty for all their hard work on this year's Concours!
