The 2023 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Palm Beach, Florida, continues until Saturday, with over 600 vehicles crossing the block over three days. We headed down on Thursday for the first day of auctions, which got started around noontime. The auction is going on now and finishes Saturday, with gates opening at 8 AM and wrapping up with the End of Auction Ceremony at 6 PM.
Here is a look at some new vehicles displayed throughout the auction field. Many major manufacturers are in attendance, including Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Lucid, Shelby American, and many other small-volume companies. Ford had their Mach-E electric SUV and Mach 1 Mustang available for rides, and Chevrolet had their C8 Corvettes. Dodge had both Challengers and Chargers, and Toyota brought out a bunch of Supras. Lucid was close to the auction block, allowing folks to drive their all-electric Lucid Air.
Inside, each manufacturer had a booth showcasing their new vehicles and aftermarket items. Chevrolet showcased their new E-Ray and a cutaway version to see how the electric motors and batteries have been integrated into the C8. They also had various display motors available from the GM Performance catalog. Ford had their Bronco Raptor and a couple of types of Mustangs. While the auction is the main focus, all the new vehicle displays are worth checking out.
