On Saturday, May 11th, the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation held its 31st Annual Car Drawing and BBQ at the American Muscle Car Museum. This year's car was a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible powered by a four-barrel 440 V8. Along with drawing the winner, everyone who bought a $25 ticket also had the opportunity to visit the entire museum inside with BBQ and fantastic local Intercoastal Brewing Company beer outside. Under the tent, we had great live music from the Audio Exchange. Overall, it was an excellent day for our last spring fundraiser.

This year's big winner was actually in attendance to hear their name drawn! Jacob from Melbourne, Florida, was the big winner and purchased the winning ticket at the Key Lime Pie Festival in January. The second-place winner of $10,000 was also from Melbourne, and the third-place winner of the travel voucher was from Daytona. Considering the recent winners have been from Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Melbourne, Australia, it was nice to have a local winner present for the drawing. Congratulations to our big winners!
Thanks to everyone who supported this meaningful cause! Just before the drawing, next year's car was announced: 1972 Plymouth Road Runner GTX. We will have more on this car, including some upcoming photos. For more about the drawing and next year's car, head to ALZBBQ.com
