50th Anniversary of the SV1 and Malcolm Bricklin's Birthday Gathering
On Saturday, March 16th, the museum hosted a 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Bricklin and a birthday party for the car's creator, Malcolm Bricklin. This was an invitation-only gathering, and Malcolm's friends and owners of Bricklin vehicles were encouraged to attend.
After speaking to everyone outside the museum's front doors, guests could tour the entire museum. At noon, we sang Happy Birthday to Mr. Bricklin in the front showroom. It was a great gathering and a special way to celebrate our friend of the museum and the history of the Bricklin SV1.
Also in attendance was John Cena. We were happy to have him by for the first time here at the AMCM. He is more than a fan of cars, and he really knows his stuff. Our AMC AMX California 500 Special used to be owned by him, so we ensured he checked it out while he was here. We greatly appreciate his patience with all the excited people at the museum and for stopping by the celebration.
