Melbourne Light Parade

The 30th Annual Melbourne Light Parade was held on Saturday, December 10th, 2022. Again this year, the museum was the Grand Marshall sponsor for the event, with A.J. Heirs having the honor of being this year's Grand Marshall. For over 30 years, AJ has been auctioning off a car every year to raise money for local organizations, including The Brevard Alzheimer's Association, The Brevard County Sheriff's Office Charity, The Coastal Conservation Association, Helping Seniors of Brevard and The Brevard County Sheriff's Reach for the Badge Program. He was a well-deserving selection for this year's parade and brought along some awesome Cadillacs for the parade.

 

The museum's float consisted of our Supercharged 2016 Ford Shelby F150 towing our 2022 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Indy 500 Festival Car. AMCM's owner Mark Pieloch and his wife, Tetiana, rode in the Camaro while Ed drove the tow vehicle. We passed out tons of candy over the two-mile route and look forward to participating next year.
