On Saturday, March 19th, the Indialantic Rotary Club held a charity fundraiser at the AMCM. Around 100 VIPs were treated to either a tour with AMCM Owner Mark Pieloch of the museum or with Ed Dedick covering the maintenance shop. After these tours, general admission opened up at 630PM. After some speaking from the Rotary Club President Jay Anderson, and a small live auction, the entire museum was available for guests to enjoy. VIPs had excellent Green Turtle food to chose from along with Fresh Market. All beer, wine, and food expenses were covered by Mark and Tetiana Pieloch.
We are happy to report that around $60,000 was raised through sponsorships, live and silent auctions, and event ticket sales. Money raised by the Indialantic Rotary went to support St. Stephen's Way, the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, and Catholic Charities Afghan Placement and Assistance Initiative. Thanks to everyone and their hard work to raise money for these worthwhile causes. Here are some photos from the evening.
