Little by little, more and more events are happening again at the AMCM. On Wednesday, the museum held a tour for the Eau Gallie High School Automotive students. The group of around eighty were given an introduction by AMCM Owner Mark Pieloch, followed by a tour of the collection and maintenance shop with Ed Dedick. Once back in the shop AMCM's Todd McCarty and newly hired Ryan Colin covered their history and career path in all things automotive. After a question and answer session, the group was treated to Dominos Pizza, cookies, and drinks back in the west end of the main showroom. We always enjoy having a group of young automotive-minded enthusiasts, specifically those pursuing a career in the transportation field.

Eau Gallie High School is located less than three miles from the AMCM. For the past 10 years, Phillip Younger has been the Automotive Instructor at EGHS. His program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics careers. We look forward to having this group, and other schools groups back in the future.
