On January 27th, the museum hosted around 60 National Corvette Museum members from around the country who are in town for the Rolex 24. The 2022 Rolex 24 is taking place weekend at the Daytona International Speedway 90 minutes north of the museum. This is the 60th running of this 24-hour endurance race, and things get started at 130 PM Saturday and end at 130 PM Sunday.
The members drove down a blend of nice Corvettes and were shown the museum and maintenance shop by AMCM's Ed Dedick. Their visit was a couple hours, and guests were treated to donuts and muffins from the local Lovebugs Bakery. Also on hand was the C8 Corvette being given away by the local Boniface Hiers Chevrolet, who sold around $1,000 worth of raffle tickets to support Dream for the badge.
We loved having these Corvette enthusiasts stop by, and hope they enjoy the rest of their race weekend! Should be a cold weekend for Florida, but is something worth bundling up for. Here are some photos from their visit.
