FPL Hurricane Dorian Restoration Efforts

While we wait for Hurricane Dorian, FPL has power restoration preparations started at both the American Muscle Car Museum and our neighbors Club 52/Melbourne Greyhound Park. At 3-4PM today these photos were taken showing the overwhelming amount of trucks and people in place ready once the storm passes to restore power.

 

At 5PM today over 600 trucks were on the two sites, with lineman from over 30 states and as far as Canada. FPL has been great with keeping the museum updated and have been happy to have the museum grounds for their use. We are happy to help however we can.

 

While seeing this many trucks and people does mean we are likely to receive outages in many areas, know they are doing everything they can to restore power. If you see these hard-working folks after the storm, do what you can to help and support those who help bring much-needed power to us in Brevard County.
