The American Muscle Car Museum has recently added another awesome Revology Mustang. This is the first 1968 GT500 KR produced by Revology, who currently produces classic Mustangs from 1965-1968 with modern mechanicals. This new model GT500 KR uses the 5.0L V8 equipped with a Roush Supercharger and makes north of 700 horsepower. Either a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic is available, with our car using the automatic. This first GT500 KR is in Royal Maroon Metallic with Wimbledon White stripes. Inside, it uses an ivory leather. The interior is in the original style but has modern conveniences like Bluetooth and a backup camera. The fit and finish throughout the car is impressive. The biggest improvements are to the driving experience. Extensive changes have been made to the suspension and braking systems to go along with the massive increase in power. Brakes are now six-piston Wilwoods up front with four-piston in the rear. Overall, it is an excellent modern interpretation of a classic American icon.
