1955 Chevrolet Nomad

AMCM's Jerry Frye covers the history of the collection's 1955 Chevrolet Nomad. This would be the first year for the Nomad station wagon as well as the 265 small block V8 engine. Based on the Bel Air, the Nomad was a nice balance of utility, performance, and style. Our first-year car is a frame-off restored, numbers-matching example and scored 995 out of 1000 points at the National Classic Chevy Show.
