This was the first pickup to receive Ford's Special Vehicle Team treatment and would be in production from 1993 to 1995. Over 5,000 of these first-year pickups were sold in either Black or Red. All would be powered by the 5.8L V8 making 240 horsepower and paired with the four-speed automatic transmission. Our car is an outstanding original example with only 112 original miles. When new, it was sold out of Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for $22,500. This is the first SVT Lightning to join the collection.
