This 2023 Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500 Festival Convertible is #17 out of 50 produced for the May 28th, 2023 race. 500 Festival Event members and personalities used this car in and around the track in April and May. We picked up this car in July from Andy Mohr Chevrolet in Plainfield, Indiana, and it currently has less than 500 original miles.
For 2023, the SS is powered by a 6.2L V8 making 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. Our car uses the ten-speed automatic, and a six-speed manual transmission is also available. As in previous years, all 500 Festival cars were automatics except for the #11 car that IMS President Doug Boles used.
The Z4C Festival Car RPO Code has a Sharkskin Metallic exterior paired with a Medium Ash Gray interior. They are based on the 2SS Convertible Package, and come with the Carbon Flash Metallic ground effects, upgraded six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brakes, and unique Indy 500 badging inside and out.
